Blog Assignment

In American Literature class, I enjoyed reading Success is Counted Sweetest by Emily Dickinson. Emily expressed her idea of success in a unique way. She says that the members of the victorious army are not able to define victory as well as the defeated, dying man who hears from a distance the music of the victors.
In British Literature class, I enjoyed reading Death Be Not Proud by John Donne. The author's usage of paradox made this poem very interesting and attracts reader's attention in a various way.

Success is an achievement of one's goal. This is the definition of success to me. I believe that one does not need to pursue success intentionally but to do what they like and to practice more about their life goals and success will eventually happen.

In class we listen to Jim Rohn's recording of "The Art of Exceptional Living". He is basically trying to deliver the idea that simple little habits in life that people doesn't notice could make a huge effect on life and that if these little habits are fixed, one's life will eventually be more successful then before.
